how can i love galaxie 500 so much but HATE LUNA soso much?
its cause that time i saw Luna at the 930 and fell asleep, utterly bored. but G500 is like…revelatory today. afraid to revisit Luna and find out i like their boring descendant.
posting things played today while i made a pretense of working and mainly refreshed feeds in attempts to remain connected to but not reviled by public opinion. lol yeah rite.
working at home is FANTASTIC if for no other reason than following the thread of listening to whatever i want continuously all day without having to be stopped by someone asking inane questions at my desk.

while listening to this i felt pretty silly for not previously realizing that Neubaten is an ancestor of Wolf Eyes. the vibe is there. the beats are there. the escalating momentum is there.
after that it was a mash of DAF, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, and Gary Numan but when i let the youtube “mix” takeover it ended badly (KMFDM is still not my thing). Also confirmed no nostalgic indulgence of Lords of Acid is necessary.
